I had the privilege of shooting Lauren and James’ wedding on Saturday in Malibu and boy was it amazing! They are a charming couple from the Silverlake neighborhood and they run their own yoga studio called Yas (go visit them!). Lauren’s preparations were at the stunning Casa Del Mar in Santa Monica, while James got ready at Paradise Cove, where the wedding was going to take place. It was a very intimate wedding, with family and close friends so they requested for me to fly solo that day. The venue was remarkable with a gorgeous view of the Pacific. Take a look at some of the shots I came out with. I dare you to tell me you can’t feel the the strong connection between these two soul-mates after checking out some of these pictures!

For those who think weddings take many months to plan, Lauren and James got everything ready for their wedding in about 2 weeks. It amazed me too! Even in that short time, they were able to have Ian Blackburn from www.learnaboutwine.com there with his friendly crew to make sure everyone’s wine glass was filled. They secured Intelligensia, an awesome coffee shop in Silverlake, to provide outstanding coffee. They were even friends with the two chefs who crafted the fresh and delicious dinner that included a farmer’s market salad and lasagne cupcakes!

It was a pleasure photographing their wedding, and it was a real blast. Thank you very much, Lauren and James. I’ll take you guys up on that offer one of these days and give your spinning class a whirl. I wish nothing but the best for you two!
