Konichiwa!

It was finally wedding day for Alex and Claudia, a totally rad couple Doug and I photographed before in Long Beach not too long ago. We started photographing Claudia during her preparation at her parent’s house in Long Beach.

We found some crazy old-school barber shop a few blocks away. The owners were kind enough to let us use the place for a few minutes to get this shot, which complemented the couples style.

Claudia is majoring in fine arts at CSULB and actually made that tiara herself! It’s definitely her style and is one-of-a-kind!

For this private photograph session with the newly weds and the wedding party, we drove out to Hilltop Park in the city of Signal Hill. This park has a breath taking view of Downtown Los Angeles, the Queen Mary, and even Catalina Island!

We finally ended up at the Ebell where there was a lively and energetic reception. What a beautiful venue!

Howdy!

Before I start off this next entry, I’d like to thank you for stopping by and checking out my blog. It’s much appreciated!

This engagement photo shoot for Mariam and Faisal, our traditionally-dressed couple, took place in Downtown, Los Angeles. They were so easy to work with and were simply full of laughs. Both had looked through www.furiousphotographersblog.com and even had some ideas in mind, which is a plus in my books. Many photographers use Downtown, Los Angeles for engagement sessions, but with Doug’s keen eye and experience, we were still capable of cranking out some unique shots to differentiate us from the herd, ya heard?

Greetings!

It’s always exciting when people with the same passion come together to do what they love – capture the moment. On this occasion, Kevin, a fellow wedding photographer, invites Doug and me to shoot a couple of models in Old Town Pasadena for fun. This historic part of Pasadena is home to many retail establishments, fine restaurants, and exciting bars and night clubs. Old Town Pasadena is very photogenic with its charming backgrounds, which is great for photo shoots. Even though this photo shoot was just for some extra practice, a little friendly competition between photographers never hurt. Check out some of the shots that were captured from our shoot out!

The incredibly sexy Audi R8! Such a stunning car in person! (I’m a total car and motorcycle enthusiast!)

It was definitely a fun shoot and it was great meeting Kevin. Doug, with no surprise, took the bragging rights for taking the best shots (and doing the best pose!). Enjoy it while it lasts, Doug!! ( Ha ha! Just kidding)

Time to make like a new-born and head out!

Peace,

Danny

Ohai!

What a small world! Doug, Furious Photographers, and I were surprised to learn that Edward worked for the same company as one of our closest friends from high school. Pretty awesome if you ask me. The tea ceremony for Nancy and Edward was a very memorable one. It’s been a while since I’ve experienced this tradition bright and early in the morning, and this was also the first time I had the opportunity to photograph such an event.

What a fun-filled day! We all had so much fun that morning and were able to photograph the memories from that day. Sorry we weren’t able to stay for lunch @ New Capital in San Garbiel, Edward. We’ll take up your offer next time! Thanks again for showing me the ropes, Doug! As always, it’s much appreciated, buddy.

Until next time!
